The Historical Society received the donation of the first Tuncurry School building in February, 1982.

Tuncurry Lock-up

The first Police Station in Tuncurry was situated on the corner of Manning and Wallis Streets. In February, 1952, it was moved to a house on the corner of Manning and South Streets. In December, 1956, it was again moved to the corner of South and Peel Streets.

Pioneer Cottage

In June, 1989, the Historical Society received a donation of the Cheers Family Cottage which was built by Joe Cheers in 1948 in Peel Street, Tuncurry.
